I actually got you covered. You are gonna fall head over heals in love with this easy fresh salad... It's is going to blow you away and I am willing to bet that you already have some of these ingredients in your refrigerator... right now.
It's totally dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free and it's vegan! It even tastes pretty darn amazing, too. The best thing about it's in a mason jar. Have you not heard of the Mason Jar Salad? Wow! You, have no idea as to what you have been missing out on.
I like totally love this idea. Unfortunately, it's so Pinterest except the are no required pallets. Honestly, what is it with Pinterest? Almost everything is made out pallets. Makes me wander. However, the Mason Jar Salads are exceptionally cool.
They can be made easily ahead of time, are totally portable, and everyone knows that Mason jars are reusable. Personally, I find them to be cute. Don't ask me why though because I really have no clue. However, I do know that with a quick shake and a fork... you can eat til you can't eat no more.
Ever since, I started making this layered salad in a jar it's become one of my favorite ways for warm weather cooking. The salad dressing itself can be added right in the jar and when you layer the ingredients correctly everything stays crisp and fresh.
Wait! There's more... what about some scallion, celery, fresh baby spinach, radishes, and some sweet tasting almonds? Toss it all together and ooh la la... you got yourself the perfect afternoon meal. I actually made this a couple of weeks ago. It's so addicting... I've been making and eating it ever since like crazy.
It is just THAT delicious. It's great chilled or right out of the fridge. I honestly never knew that a little baby spinach, crunchy almonds and a couple little pink colored radishes would make a nutritious meal taste so amazing. Sometimes, I even add a little chili powder and cinnamon for a boosted flavor.
