Broccoli Chickpea Fritters

Ingredients

For the Broccoli

  • 2 bunches broccoli (chopped)

For the Fritter

  • 12 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp dried smoked paprika
  • 14 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 2 tsps sea salt
  • 12 cup water

For the Onion

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 slice onion (finely chopped)

For the Potatoes

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 223 small potato (chopped)
  • 212 tbsps sage (finely sliced)
  • 112 tsps sea salt

Directions

  1. Use a big pot of water and boil the broccoli for about 15 minutes until soft. Set aside.
  2. Use a small skillet to heat up the olive oil and fry the onion for about 5 minutes.
  3. Use a big bowl and add the boiled broccoli, purée it with an immersion blender.
  4. Add the onions and the rest of the fritter ingredients except the olive oil and mix everything well with a spoon or your hands.
  5. Use a big skillet and heat up the olive oil for the fritters.
  6. Form the fritters with your hands and fry them for 5 minutes on both sides on medium heat.
  7. It's best if you serve it with our baked potatoes and sage.
